of a farmyard, Acorus were brought in to design and assist
with a subsequent successful planning application for a
new intensive beef unit on a Greenfield site in Staffordshire.
The new farmstead has been designed to accommodate 300
head of beef cattle together with grain storage, straw barn
and calf rearing building. The building floor area equates
to approximately 2,928 square metres (31,505 square feet)
of agricultural buildings.
The 250 acre farm was formally run as a dairy unit however
the original farmyard has now been sold off and the traditional
buildings converted into seven dwellings.
