Appeal Win For The Midlands

The Midlands team are pleased to have secured consent for a farmer to progress with the conversion of a modern type agricultural building to a dwelling, i.e. as per the Class Q Prior Approval regime.   In order to enable the farmer to progress with the development an Appeal was required to secure a Certificate of Lawfulness.  The appointed Inspector agreed that the works involved for the conversion were acceptable within the Class Q regime and that the Council had erred when not originally notifying the applicant/agent within the 56 day period.
