Appeals

There
are three types of appeal:-
- Written Representation
- Informal Hearing
- Public Inquiry
Choosing the right method is an important first choice when considering an appeal.
Once requested the appeal system consists of strict timetables
for submission of statement and response to the Local Authority’s
case. If you choose an informal hearing or inquiry there
will be a day or several days allocated to discuss your
case. For written representation, only a site visit will
take place. Acorus have a wealth of experience in dealing
with the process, in some cases in conjunction with recommended
solicitors or barristers.
