Environmental Impact Assessment
Environmental Impact Assessments is a procedure that leads
to the production of the Environment Statement that accompanies
major planning applications or those that have the potential
to have significant environmental effects.
Undertaking an Environmental Impact Assessment often involves
a number of specialists looking at highways, transport,
ecology, landscapes and other technical aspects of the development.
The Town & Country Planning Environment Impact Assessment
Regulations outline types of development that are covered
either as Schedule 1 or Schedule 2. Schedule 1 developments
must have an Environmental Statement, Schedule 2 only in
some cases.
Pigs and Poultry Developments often need an EIA and there
are few organisations that understand the specific issues
involved. We can however prepare EIAs for a whole range
of proposals, managing sub consultants as required.
