Planning permission was granted for a poultry unit at the site in 1997, reference 97/36077.

The previous owners thought the planning permission was implemented and therefore 'live' through the construction of the access track. An application for Lawful Development was sought in 2014 to confirm this, reference 2014/23354, but was unsuccessful. It is recommended purchasers make their own investigations.
