Renewable Energy
The Government is committed to tackling climate change. To encourage individuals and businesses to take action on a local level it is currently possible to receive regular incomes from investments in Green energy technology. For green electricity schemes these may be based on the provision of wind turbines, solar (photovoltaic), hydro and anaerobic digestion. Alternative heat provisions are available through wood fuel, heat pumps, solar thermal or biogas.
Acorus, along with assistance from partners, are able to advise on green energy options from both a domestic and business perspective. Initially it may be worthwhile considering an energy audit to review current expenditure and subsequently feasibility to assess viability of low carbon alternatives.
